Updating the O*NET-SOC Taxonomy: Incorporating the 2010 SOC Structure

This report describes the O*NET-SOC 2010 taxonomy structure based on the 2010 SOC. A summary of the taxonomy revision process and implementation of resulting changes is provided. The February 2011 release of the O*NET 15.1 database incorporates the alignment of codes, titles, and definitions with the 2010 SOC and the addition of new and emerging (N&E) occupations to the O*NET-SOC taxonomy. The appendices below outline the O*NET-SOC 2010 taxonomy and changes that occurred from transitioning to the 2010 SOC.
