This file contains the Tools and Technology examples, including hot technologies, associated with O*NET-SOC occupations. Each example is classified in two ways: the column “T2 Type” indicates whether the example is a tool or a technology (software product), and the columns “Commodity Code” and “Commodity Title” classify the example under the United Nations Standard Products and Services Code (UNSPSC). See the UNSPSC Reference section for more information.
The “Hot Technology” column indicates requirements frequently included in employer job postings. A concise list of all hot technologies may be downloaded from O*NET OnLine.
We welcome feedback on the T2 database. We accept suggestions for new tools and technologies via our T2 feedback process. Suggestions will be considered for a future update of the T2 database.
The file is displayed in six tab delimited fields with the columns named O*NET-SOC Code, T2 Type, T2 Example, Commodity Code, Commodity Title, and Hot Technology. The six fields are represented by one row. There are a total of 68,230 rows of data in this file.
